Garlic Naan
Homemade Garlic Naan *2 cups of Flour *Teaspoon of Salt *1/4 cup of vegetable oil *1/4 cup Water *3 cloves of garlic(minced and mixed witha teaspoon of olive oil) 1. Preheat oven 350 degrees. 2. Mix all ingredients except garlic into a dough. 3. Make pool table ball size rounds of dough 4. Work dough until it is flat and round. Approx 5-7 inches round. 5. Put dough on oiled cookie sheet and sprinkle just a bit of olive oil on top and add the garlic mixture on top of that. 6. Then bake for 7-9 minutes. Enjoy!

The main dish! Here you will find all the recipes for all the main dishes I either made up and tried to make well or stole from somewhere online to give me a basis on how to make if I wasn't familiar on how to make in the first place. Cooking can be both very very precise or very freewheeling. Here I will try to explain that through the methods I used.


★ Teriyaki Chicken served with Butterleaf Lettuce Cups
1-1.5lbs Chicken meat(I prefer chicken thighs) cubed or cut in strips. 1 cup Homemade teriyaki sauce(recipe below) 1.5-2 Tbsp garlic minced 1.5-2 Tbsp ginger minced 1/2 Red onion sliced 1 Red bell pepper sliced 6-8 Baby bella mushroom sliced 1 Butterleaf Lettuce (individual leafs pulled off used for lettuce cups) 1/2 avocado peeled and sliced 1 Tbsp olive oil Salt and pepper to taste Instructions: 1. In a large sauce pan or deep fry pan, put in olive oil and heat to medium or medium high. 2. Add chicken and half or the ginger and garlic and cook until chicken is about half done. 3. Add the teriyaki sauce and bring to a simmer. 4. Once sauce is simmering, add all the vegetables except the avocado, the rest of the garlic and ginger and cook 12 to 15 minutes so chicken can finish cooking, vegetables can soften, and sauce can reduce by about half. Salt and pepper to taste. 5. Plate by adding lettuce leaves on the side of the plate. Put the teriyaki chicken mixture in a small bowl on the plate or directly on the plate and 1/2 the avocado fanned out on the plate next to the lettuce. The healthy taco! Enjoy! Homemade Teriyaki Sauce ingredients (Makes about 1 cup) 1 cup low sodium soy sauce or shoyu(if you want the real deal) 1/2 cup mirin 1/2 cup cheap cold sake (a little alcohol in a sauce gives some great flavor) 4 tablespoons brown cane sugar 3 cloves of garlic, crushed 1.5 Tbsp ginger sliced very thinly Instructions: 1.
